Hedy Manon began after many years of looking for a luxuriously fashionable quality dog carrier for the designer’s teacup shih Tzu.  Hedy spent over 20 years in the luxury fashion business working in all aspects of the industry to include design, product development, retail stores, visual, and buyers and also advertising and marketing.  Her career took her all over the globe traveling to prestigious celebrity events and exotic locations both commercially and privately.  Her broad understanding of a luxury lifestyle and the lifestyle of her clients included traveling with her Imperial Shih Tzu, General McArthur, made designing fashionable luxury carriers a natural transition.  The special bond she has with her five pound Shih Tzu continues to be an inspiration.
